- Biscuits

Sift together:
- 3
cups flour
- 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- Cut in 3/4 cup butter
until well blended, using two table knives or pastry blender.
With hand blender, beat together:
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- Add milk & egg to flour
mixture until combined.
- Knead 3 or 4 times on
floured board.
- Cut biscuits and place on
ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 450
degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until
golden brown.
