Peanut Brittle
2 cups white sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup water
2 cups raw peanuts
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vinegar
Combine sugar, syrup & water in deep pan.
Cook to softball stage (248 degrees F)
Add peanuts and cook until mixture turns dark.
Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, stirring well.
Pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
Let cool and break into smaller pieces.
