Peanut Brittle

bullet2 cups white sugar
bullet1 cup corn syrup
bullet1/4 cup water
bullet2 cups raw peanuts
bullet1 tsp. soda
bullet1 tsp. salt
bullet1 tsp. vinegar
bulletCombine sugar, syrup & water in deep pan.
bulletCook to softball stage (248 degrees F)
bulletAdd peanuts and cook until mixture turns dark.
bulletRemove from heat and add remaining ingredients, stirring well.
bulletPour onto buttered cookie sheet.
bulletLet cool and break into smaller pieces.
