Pecan Pie Bars

	1 (12 OZ) Pkg. butter cake mix, reserve 2/3 cup for filling
	4 eggs
	½ cup oleo, melted
	1 ½ cup corn syrup
	½ cup dark brown sugar
	1 tsp. vanilla
	1 cup chopped pecans Combine cake mix, 1 egg and melted oleo Pour into greased 9 x 13 baking pan Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350º

For filling: Mix together reserved cake mix, syrup, 3 eggs, brown sugar and vanilla Pour over crust in pan Sprinkle with pecans Bake at 350º  for an additional 25 to 30 minutes Cut into squares Makes 3 doz. bars
