One pound loaf of cinnamon raisin bread
1 quart milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
3 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Break bread into small chunks in large mixing bowl.
Add milk, let soak for 10 minutes (You can work mixture with hands until milk is absorbed.)
Combine eggs and remaining ingredients.
Stir into bread mixture.
Pour into a 13x9 inch baking dish
for 50 minutes
or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Yields 12 servings
