| BEFORE MIXING INGREDIENTS: Make
and bake graham cracker crust according to recipe on box of pre-crumbed graham crackers.
LET COOL before adding the pie mixture. |
| Cream the cheese till smooth and fluffy. |
| Add remaining ingredients and mix till
smooth. |
| Pour into spring form pan or tube pan lined
with cooled graham cracker crust. |
| Bake 1 hour
at 350 degrees DO NOT BAKE LONGER AND DO NOT PRE-HEAT
OVEN! |
| Garnish with additional carton of whipped
cream, crushed pineapple, and slivered almonds.
| This recipe is definitely worth the effort!
When my husband and I got married, we did everything ourselves, including
the catering for the reception. One of the refreshments we prepared was cheesecake
(5 of them!) We went through dozens of recipes, but this by far has been the best
I've found. I got it from a friend (Pam Sanders) in Levelland TX who in turn had
gotten it from an aunt of hers. It's delicious! |
