Gooey Butter Cake

 | 1 box yellow cake mix |
 | 1 egg |
 | 1 stick softened butter |
Mix above ingredients and press
into greased 9x13 inch pan.
Blend together:
 | 8 oz. softened cream cheese |
 | 2 eggs |
 | 1 box powdered sugar
 | Pour cream cheese mixture
over crust. |
 | Bake at 350
degrees for 30 to 40
minutes or until golden brown. |
 | Top with cherry or
blueberry filling or just serve with ice cream.
 | VARIATIONS:
Chocolate cake mix, and add 1 to 2 tbsp. cocoa to cream cheese
mixture. Spice cake mix and add 1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice to
cream cheese mixture. |
