Quick Brownies

bullet2 cups sugar
bullet1  3/4 cups all-purpose flour
bullet1/2 cup baking cocoa
bullet1 tsp. salt
bullet5 eggs
bullet1 cup vegetable oil
bullet1 tsp. vanilla
bullet1 cup (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
bulletPecans or walnuts (optional)
bulletIn a bowl, combine first seven ingredients.
bulletBeat until smooth.  (Add nuts, if desired)
bulletPour into a greased 9x13 baking pan.
bulletSprinkle chocolate chips on top.
bulletBake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
bulletThis is a very quick and easy recipe for brownies!
bulletI've made them with and without nuts and they're delicious either way
bulletThese are great warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top
