Chocolate Pie

 

bullet6 tblsps. flour
bullet4 tblsps. cocoa
bullet1 cup sugar
bullet1 1/2 cups milk
bullet2 tblsps. butter or oleo
bullet1 tsp. vanilla
bulletDash salt
bullet2 egg yolks, beaten (save whites for meringue)
bulletMix flour, cocoa & sugar, adding small amount of milk, stirring to mix
well
bulletAdd remainder of milk, butter & vanilla
bulletCook & stir over medium heat until thickened
bulletStir beaten egg yolks into hot mixture
bulletPour into baked 8 or 9 inch pie shell
bulletTop with meringue & brown at 350 degrees
