"Soup"erior  Meatloaf


bullet1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
bullet2 lbs. ground beef
bullet1  1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs, broken into small pieces
bullet2 eggs
bullet3/4 cup water
bullet1/3 cup ketchup
bulletIn large mixing bowl, combine the above ingredients. 
bulletIn large baking pan, shape into loaves
bulletBake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour

Sauce for topping:

bullet1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
bullet2 Tbsp brown sugar
bullet1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
bullet1 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
bulletWhile meat loaves are baking, mix the above ingredients
bulletWhen the meat loaves are done, spread the sauce over tops
bulletReturn to oven for 5 to 10 minutes longer
bulletComment:  I usually make 6 or 7 mini loaves, and put on a cookie sheet.
It takes about 30 minutes to cook these and they freeze well.  Really
good for an individual or for single servings.
