PEAR SPREAD
1/2 bushel of pears
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 box raisins
1 box coconut
Grind pears & steam them, until tender in the same juice - should make 2 cups
Take 2 cups of pears and combine with sugar and flour.
Add raisins & coconut.
Cook until thick.
Stir to keep from scorching.
Makes 7 jars.
