Green Beans Amandine

bullet1 pound fresh grean beans
bullet1/2 cup water
bullet1/4 cup slivered almonds
bullet 2 tbsp. butter
bullet1 tsp. lemon juice
bullet1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
bulletIn a saucepan, bring beans and water to a boil; reduce heat to medium.
bulletCover and cook for 10 - 15 minutes, or until beans are crisp-tender.
bulletDrain and set aside.
bulletIn a large skillet, cook almonds in butter over low heat until browned.
bulletStir in lemon juice and seasoned salt.
bulletAdd beans and heat through.
bulletSprinkle additional seasoned salt on according to taste.
bulletYield:  4 servings
bulletThis is my favorite way to fix fresh green beans & my family loves it!
