Sweet Potato Casserole

	3 Cups mashed sweet potatoes
	1 cup sugar
	2 eggs
	1 tsp. vanilla
	1/2 cup butter or oleo
	1/3 cup milk Boil about 6 medium sweet potatoes until tender Peel and mash Add all the above ingredients and mix well Put in a greased casserole dish TOPPING:
	1 cup light brown sugar
	½ cup flour
	1/3 cup butter or oleo
	1 cup chopped pecans Mix the above ingredients well and crumble on top of potatoes Bake at 350º for  25 to 35 minutes Comment: This recipe will be a delightful addition to your Thanksgiving Dinner. It was my privilege to attend the Annual Thanksgiving Gospel Meeting at Pansy, Alabama for the first time in 1993 and again in 1994 and 1996. The sisters in this congregation really know how to spread a very delicious Southern style feast which includes turkey & dressing, collard greens, green lima beans, sweet potato casserole and pecan pies, among many other delicious dishes.
