Chalamanda Church Meeting The Chalamanda congregation is located about 30 km east
of Blantyre in Chiradzulu District near Namitambo center. This is not too
far from the Wendewende church where the Nichols and Osburn families lived
when they were serving as missionaries here. The meeting took place on the
outside of the church building under the shelter you see in the
background. The ground had been covered with grass for the people to sit
on. But, as it turned out, the shelter was not large enough to accommodate
the number of people attending the service. People who sat outside on the
ground did not complain, and we appreciate that. Brother J. Chimkango is
the preacher for Chalamanda. Stephen Kasenda was our translator. |
