This meeting took place on Sunday, July 7, 2002 at the Chitewere congregation located in the Nkhoma area of Lilongwe District, Central Region of Malawi. Nkhoma area is approximately 40 km east, southeast of Lilongwe City. I had the honor of being the speaker and Stephen Kasenda did the translating. The congregation was started by Bro. W.D. Kandeya who still serves as their preacher. Bro. Kandeya has been instrumental in starting several other congregations in the general area. They are: Kuwi, Kasomba, Chigwenembe, Kumisozi, Chizaye and Masula. There were representatives from some of these congregations present for the meeting. Present also were preaching brethren Katona and Limbani from Lilongwe City, Bro. Nantchengwa from Ntchisi District and Bro. Khosolo from Kasungu District. I had asked these preachers to attend so that we might have some discussions concerning the work in the Central Region.  --Jim Franklin
