This meeting took place on Saturday, June 29, 2002, at the Mwalasi Church in Chiwundu Village, Machinga District, Malawi. This congregation is located about 120 km north of Blantyre, halfway between Liwondwe and Ntaja, an area that is not as densely populated as the region just south of Chiwundu across the mountain range in the Zomba District. This is a relatively new congregation, one started by the son of Bro. A.S. Chiwoko. Bro. Chiwoko's son is a school teacher. He was transferred to this area by the School Board. There was no faithful congregation in this particular village area, so he started this one. The man in the blue suit to the right in the front of the picture is Chief Chiwundu, a Muslim. On this day, he heard his very first Gospel sermon. I pray the "seed" did not fall on the foot path, but on good soil. --Jim Franklin
