Nazitimbe Congregation’s Meeting
Zomba District, Malawi
December 20, 2002

The Nazitimbe congregation is located in Chimowa Village about 8 kilometers east of Mayaka center in Zomba District. This is approximately 60 km north of Blantyre. Nazitimbe began their Gospel meeting on Thursday, December 19th and is scheduled to end on Sunday, December 22, 2002. The congregation requested me to be their speaker on Friday, December 20th. Davidson Kasambwe served as our translator. The preacher assisting this congregation is Brother L.S. Uzingo.

Rains started coming to this area a little less than two weeks ago. This means that everybody has been very busy in their gardens. People working in their gardens affected the attendance of our meeting. Even so, as you can see, we still had a pretty good crowd. We have been praying for rain so the people could plant their gardens, so we are not complaining when brethren are absent for that purpose. Of course, we would not feel this way about missing a Lord‘s Day worship. You will note that corn is coming up in the garden beside the church building. It is our prayer that the Lord will continue to send enough rain to insure the success of the crops. --Jim Franklin
