Salanya Church Meeting

Salanya Village is located 108 km southeast of Blantyre in Phalombe district.The Salanya congregation was the host congregation of the meeting which was conducted on behalf of congregations in the nearby villages. The results of this meeting was 32 baptisms which took place on Saturday, July 26th. I was asked to be the speaker for the last service of the meeting which was today, the Lord's Day, Sunday, July 27th. Davidson Kasambwe was the translator. The preacher for Salanya is Brother L. C. Office. In the first row of adults in the front of the picture on the left side, the man standing on the outside is the Group Village Headman, Chief Mponthe. To his left, the man who has on the white shirt is Chief Salanya.
