The water is being pumped through the
main line to a tilted basin buried in the soil near to the brim. The
reason for this is so that the force of the water coming out of the
pipe does not wash a hole in the ground and then wash away the soil.
You will not that a row of soil that has a "v" scooped in the top
has a piece of plastic for the water to flow on to keep from washing
the soil while diverting the water to an area of the garden to be
