Is the world growing better?

Is a question that is frequently asked,

Are the people of this generation

Any better than those of the past?

But a more important question

One that brings it closer home

Am I growing better,

Scattering sunshine where I roam.

Am I more studious of the Bible,

Do I read it every Day,

Am I a light that’s leading,

Others from their erring way?

Am I more dutiful

Than I was one year ago?

Do I always stop and think,

Or sometimes judge before I know?
